Welcome to My Bag of Vintage Annetiques! (See how this is spelled? Coupled with ‘BAG’, it’s me: my initials and my name! I’m so glad you’re visiting! Let me introduce myself.
I was born in 1946 (yes, a Baby Boomer) and was an only child! I am now 77, married and have two adult children. I’ve had several marriages; I’ve been both divorced and widowed. I spent 10 years working in banking, and about 20 years as a Court Reporter. I live in Northeast Indiana, small town USA. I attended the local high school and a local business college. Further I had some college classes. I’m pretty low maintenance. I’ve been retired since 2012. Recently, I’ve become aware of my likes…the old stuff I see. I realized that makes me Vintage.
Lets define vintage: the word literally means “of age”. With such an open meaning, there are various interpretations. Vintage is younger than an antique (in the true sense of the word). But for our purposes here, intake or retro or Annetique can be what we want it to be. Old or oldER! Get it?
